On 12 July 2012, the HCM City People's Council has issued a Decree naming street named Pham Van Dong, Mai Chi Tho and Tran Van Giau. Accordingly, the street named Pham Van Dong road from Tan Son Nhat - Binh Loi - belt out with the beginning of fall in Nguyen Thai Son (Go Vap) and the end of the intersections Linh Xuan (Thu Duc).

Street named Mr. Mai Chi Tho is the new road section east of the East-West Highway Project under their District 2 (completed and put into use on 20-11-2011) tunnel from the river the district 2 Saigon and the end point is the intersection of Cat Lai - Hanoi Highway.

Named Tran Van Giau is the route of Provincial Highway 10 expansion project and the project provinces Highway 10B (beginning from the intersection with Ten Lua street and end line route Vo Van Van) in the district Binh Chanh and extended Binh Tan district bordering province of  long An.

Provincial Highway 10 is a lifeline linking the center of Ho Chi Minh City and Long An province and southwestern provinces.

Expansion project Provincial Highway 10 and Highway 10B is one of six projects Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and People's Council special attention.

July 2012 City People's Committee has approved the city budget to advance the implementation of key projects urgent: Projects compensation, site clearance for the project components 4 "Improving channel and along the Tan Hoa - Lo Gom " in the district 6; equipment installation project supply backup power to the coast district 1 service management and exploitation of the Saigon river tunnel; upgrade project, expansion provincial Highway 10 and provincial road 10B Binh Chanh district; pavement rehabilitation Project shore North and South Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe (from Le Van Sy to Nguyen Huu Canh); project to fix, improve Nguyen Thi Thap (from Le Van Luong to Huynh Tan Phat); projects compensation, site clearance for the construction of lake Park Khanh Hoi; project compensation, site clearance for the implementation of Rehabilitation project drainage ditches Ba Bot (the Go Dua intersections, Thu Duc).

On 23 Feb 2012, Ho Chi Minh City began construction of two bridges on the National Highway 1A with a capital of 700 billion VND.

First overpass was built at the intersection between Highway 1A Provincial Highway 10 (Binh Tan), longer than 800 m (bridges and roads). Second overpass located at the intersection of Highway 1A with Provincial Highway 10 B, 680 m long. In addition, separators to separate lanes 2 wheel car lanes on Highway 1A An Suong - An Lac will also be installed. Total capital investment in the construction of the entire project is over 704 billion. The two buildings will be completed in 18 months.
According to Tran Quang Phuong, director of HCM City Department of Transportation, the construction of two bridges is to tackle congestion and accidents at the intersection intersection with Highway 1A. Earlier, the National Highway 1A through Ho Chi Minh City was expanded to eight lanes.
